Goombi Energy Holdings, a joint venture formed by LP Renewable Projects and TagEnergy Australia, is preparing to develop the Goombi Renewable Energy Hub in the locality of Goombi, located in the Western Downs region of Queensland. This project, which combines a wind farm and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), is part of the Southern Queensland Renewable Energy Zone. The project area covers a total of 14,174.9 hectares, according to documents submitted to environmental authorities. The effective infrastructure footprint would represent 1,240.2 hectares.
