Hizenergy, a subsidiary of Huazhi Energy, announces a range of four energy storage products intended for the commercial and industrial (C&I) market. The company positions this launch as a response to the evolution of a C&I environment increasingly oriented toward the market, where operators seek both increased material efficiency and intelligent control capabilities for energy storage systems.
A Transformer-Free Low Voltage Converter
The flagship product of the range is the 300 kW Power Conversion System (PCS) converter in alternating current at 400 V. Hizenergy describes it as the first 300 kW class converter with direct low voltage output in its category. The design enables direct connection to commercial low voltage distribution networks at 400 V, without an intermediate step-up transformer.
According to the company, this architecture would reduce the system's initial cost, footprint, and conversion losses compared to high voltage architectures requiring additional transformer equipment. The converter displays a peak efficiency of 99.0% and European efficiency of 98.5%. It also integrates grid-forming capabilities, black start functionality, and seamless grid/off-grid switching.
Four Products to Meet C&I Market Needs
The complete range also includes a 460 kW PCS converter, a two-hour energy storage system of 300 kW/627 kWh, and a four-hour system of 300 kW/1,172 kWh. Hizenergy indicates that these products meet the growing needs of operators seeking both material efficiency and intelligent dispatch capability.
The C&I energy storage market is undergoing a transformation toward increasingly demand-driven models. The transformer-free architecture proposed by Hizenergy directly targets the reduction of installation costs and conversion losses in this competitive segment.
