Hizenergy, the commercial brand of Huazhi Energy manufacturer, announced the launch of a range of four energy storage products intended for the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment. The range comprises two power converters (PCS) — 300 kW and 460 kW — as well as two integrated storage systems, each based on 300 kW power. This launch comes in a context where the company perceives growing demand from operators for equipment combining material efficiency and optimized energy dispatch management.
A 400 V PCS Without Step-Up Transformer
The flagship product of this offering is the 300 kW PCS converter with direct 400 V output (alternating current). Hizenergy presents it as the first 300 kW class PCS capable of connecting directly to 400 V low-voltage distribution networks without a step-up transformer. According to the company, this architecture would reduce initial installation costs, footprint and conversion losses compared to solutions requiring additional transformer equipment. The 460 kW model complements the range for sites requiring higher conversion power.
The company announces for the 300 kW PCS a maximum efficiency of 99.0% and a European efficiency of 98.5%. The equipment would integrate grid-forming capabilities, autonomous start without external power supply (black start), and seamless switching between grid-connected and islanded modes. These capabilities target resilience and power continuity requirements of industrial and commercial operators subject to variable network constraints.
Two Integrated Systems for Distinct Autonomy Durations
The range includes two integrated storage systems, each based on 300 kW power. The two-hour autonomy configuration offers 627 kWh capacity, while the four-hour model reaches 1,172 kWh. These two products are positioned to meet different consumption profiles in the commercial and industrial sectors.
Hizenergy justifies this launch by the shift toward a C&I market more driven by market signals, requiring operators to simultaneously master material efficiency and intelligent dispatch capabilities. The company has not communicated pricing data or specified priority geographic areas for this new range. No distribution partnership or commercialization timeline has been announced.
