Star Trade and Chubu Miraiz Partner to Deploy 300 MW of Storage in Japan
Energy services provider Star Trade and Japanese retailer Chubu Electric Power Miraiz announce a partnership in battery storage. The project aims to stabilize electricity prices during peak hours on the Japanese market.

Star Trade, a subsidiary of the HDRE Group specializing in energy services, and Chubu Electric Power Miraiz have announced the launch of a collaboration in energy storage. According to the partnership terms, both companies are examining a capacity expansion of up to 300 MW. This initiative marks Star Trade’s first international deployment of its battery-backed price hedging solution.
