Syngenta Signs Five-Year Wind vPPA for 625 GWh with Statkraft
Agrochemical group Syngenta concludes its first virtual renewable electricity purchase agreement with Norwegian producer Statkraft. The deal covers 125 GWh annually of onshore wind energy in Germany.

Syngenta and Statkraft announced the signing of a virtual power purchase agreement (vPPA) for a five-year term. The contract covers Syngenta’s crop protection and seeds operations in Europe. The agreed volume reaches 125 GWh per year, totaling 625 GWh of green electricity by the end of the contract in 2030, according to terms communicated by both parties.
