Plug Power announced the completion of the installation of 100 MW of PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) GenEco electrolyzers at the Sines refinery, operated by Galp in Portugal. This deployment constitutes, according to the company, one of the largest renewable hydrogen projects in Europe. All ten electrolyzer modules have been delivered and installed on site since the initial project announcement in October 2025, which began with a first 10 MW module.
