Innergex Renewable Energy and EOLFI have commissioned the La Cense wind farm, located in the commune of Saint-André-Farivillers, 25 km northeast of Beauvais, in the Oise department. The installation comprises four Nordex N117 turbines rated at 3.3 MW each, for a total capacity of 13.2 MW. Nordex is active across several European markets: the manufacturer recently won an order for six N163 turbines for the Peckelsheim wind farm. Construction began in February 2025 and involved several contractors, including local firms engaged notably for earthworks.
Annual output and carbon impact
According to data released by the two companies, La Cense is expected to produce approximately 33,000 MWh of electricity per year, which would avoid around 1,425 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. The farm holds a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA), providing long-term revenue visibility. Jean Trudel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Innergex, states that the project "complements our existing installations, reinforces our presence in Hauts-de-France and creates synergies with our other projects in the region".
The farm is designed to operate in synergy with several neighbouring projects, including the Bois des Cholletz wind farm, located in the commune of Conchy-les-Pots, also in the Oise department. Innergex and EOLFI state they engaged local firms for civil engineering works, reflecting their stated commitment to contributing to the economic vitality of the territories in which they operate.
More than 2.6 million euros raised through citizen financing
In late 2025, a crowdfunding campaign was launched targeting residents of the Oise department and six neighbouring departments — Aisne, Somme, Seine-Maritime, Eure, Seine-et-Marne and Val-d'Oise. The campaign raised more than 2.6 million euros in the form of bonds at an interest rate of 7.25%, complementing an already secured bank financing. Guillaume Jumel, Vice-President and General Director France of Innergex, states that the result "illustrates the concrete commitment of local residents to the project".
Youssef El Hayani-Taïb, Wind Development Director at EOLFI and historic project manager for La Cense, notes that the project took "almost 10 years" from the first meetings with local elected officials. EOLFI, specialised in renewable energy project development for more than twenty years, describes the farm as "a symbol of the quality of our development". The company also expressed satisfaction with the collaboration conducted with Innergex throughout the process.
Innergex: 17 wind farms in France and 3,592 MW internationally
With La Cense, Innergex now holds 17 wind farms in France with a combined capacity of 337 MW. The company also holds interests in 18 development projects with a total gross installed capacity of 1,959 MW, of which six are currently under construction. Innergex has been a partner of Crédit Agricole in France since 2023.
